Damnation, Threadless
Posted under: I was eye-ing the t-shirts for a long time already and since they are having a big sale I took the chances to order a whole lot of 13 shirts to my liking {USD $170.50}.
But… it was declined!
The problem is my orders have been reviewed and declined 6 times!! So I wrote a complaint email to them;

I’ve tried placing order, 4 times but all have been declined. It seems the issue here is, billing information but I used correct billing address.

We regret to inform you that we no longer accept orders or ship to Terengganu, Kelentan, or Kota Bharu. Over the past year, every single order we have received from those locations have been placed fraudulently with stolen credit cards and has cost our company a great deal in lost income and merchandise. We cannot make any exceptions.

You mean I cannot place order at all unless I use different credit card and address NOT from Terengganu, Kelantan, or Kota Bharu?
Its a discrimination and I felt terribly disappointed.

Sorry, we do not ship to Terengganu, Kelentan, or Kota Bharu. We used to, but ran into too many issues with fraud and missing orders. We removed it from our list of countries we ship to.
Another option: You can trying having a friend or family member in a different country order the shirts for you and then forward them to you.

Note the wrong spelling of ‘Kelantan’. They think Terengganu, Kelantan, and Kota Bharu are countries? Ceh!!! What the h**l la dei… And I used my friend’s CC with a Selangor address, guess what!! It was declined too!
Shipping to Malaysia, is not accepted?
If they really DO NOT accept orders from or provide shipping to Malaysia, they should have removed ‘Malaysia’ from the drop down list! So my time is not wasted! Grrr….
p/s: I used the money to spend on other things, like shoes!!!

hubby selalu beli ngan gift cert, tak penah lagi ngan CC. maybe kalau guna CC decline jugak kot.

Actually, we also applied to threadless to sell their shirts here in Malaysia – but they said that there were too many cases of copying and fraud from our country, so they were not interested in having a retailer here.
Although I and my siblings have bought over 200 threadless shirts between us over the past few years with no problems – perhaps because we are in KL?
Can’t really blame Threadless. If want to blame anyone, blame our fellow Malaysians who are heavily into fraudulent credit card use, paypal charge backs and rampant theft of designs from all over the world. You only need to walk into sungei wang and you will see some ripped off threadless designs. There’s even a local ‘designer’ selling in Jusco stores who has ripped off the wall deco Threadless bilik designs (and not very well at that).
Fingers crossed Threadless continues shipping to Malaysia at ALL, let alone only excluding a few states.
By the way, if you still want to buy threadless shirts I would be happy to buy them for you and send to you, just email me. Best is to wait for their sale times though..
(incidentally, I’ve stopped buying threadless as I prefer the more unique designs on etsy anyway, and I like using bamboo shirts now and not cotton as they are far FAR more comfortable)

so weird, why i cant… before this?
but now, they have announced different pricing… and it cost more for each tee!! frankly speaking, their shipping charges are ridiculous!

thredless.com ni actually bleh ship kat msia dlu..aku penah beli dlm 10 helai gune cc bapak aku..mase tu sale $5 per shirt.
tapi gone through the years, aku nye purchase pn rejected last aku beli..bile email kat die..die ckp kat msia, byk org gune cc org laen, and gune utk beli baju kat kedai die..so actually malaysia die da tak ship tros..tapi care lain nak bounce cube letak alamat same tapi letak negara singapore..sure lepas pnya.. jgn risau coz posting ikot poskod bukan ikot negara..so just letak poskod alamat rumah ko..tapi kat ruangan negara tu choose singapore or japan as option..try it then ull see the diference
y u wanna suffer urselves. just ask someone in kl to order for u then. i buy lots of t-shirts from threadless and has no problems whatsoever. im in kl by the way. kelantan n terengganu are fucked up places to begin with anyways. hope all u fuckers there die.
