First, what is Novelty Prints/Fabrics? Novelty fabrics are fabrics with a theme and usually done in limited printing.

Novelty fabrics are fabrics with a theme of some sort. Pets, holidays, toys, and sports are just a few of the numerous motifs printed on fabric.

This type of fabric became popular during the last quarter of the 19th century . At this time they were called conversation prints. Bicycles, horseshoes and anchors were popular motifs.

During America’s Great Depression manufacturers began to sell animal feed and staples like flour and sugar in sacks printed with delightful themes. Once the feed sack was emptied the sack was used to make clothing or quilts. There were some delightful novelty prints on feedsacks. See the link to feedsack novelty fabrics.

The novelty fabrics available today seem to be endless and include just about any theme you can imagine. Just one word of warning. If you find a novelty fabric you love you’d better buy it then and there as they are usually done in just one printing.

Selamat berpuasa kepada pembaca Muslim sekalian. Tak sangka, sungguh cepat masa berlalu. Masih teringat puasa tahun lepas bersama rakan-rakan se-uni. Rindu pada mereka. Rindu saat-saat berkejaran ke ‘param’ (pasar ramadhan) Taman Universiti. Dan emo bila nasi ayam habis, beli nasi tomato sebagai ganti… rupa-rupanya basi. Alahai~

Harap-harap sudah habis menggantikan puasa tahun lepas ye. Saya sendiri lambat ganti puasa, terpaksa berpuasa semasa kursus. Orang lari 2.4km, saya pun kena lari juga. Tak mau dikecualikan, bimbang dikata bimbo! :panic:

Oleh itu, dengan kesempatan ini saya ingin mengucapkan selamat berpuasa dan mohon maaf di atas kesilapan lalu. Saya memaafi anda juga, sesungguhnya sifat maaf-memaafi adalah dituntut.

Makanan berbuka biarlah berpada-pada. Jangan jadi pelahap, heee. Tapi hari ni mak masak sizzling yee mee, eh ke spaghetti? wahlaaa :cheer: ayam golek pon sodap juge~

Doakan aku berjaya untuk peperiksaan 09.09.2008 ni. Takut~ ps:

I’m sick

Felt sick, taking leave from work today. Just back from 3days course in Cherating. Had so much fun and lots of piccies.. But, stupid-forgetful-me left the USB cable back in Qber. I guess I’ll post the pics tomorrow lah.

Waiting for the laundry to dry, pack my stuff and head back to Qber, gosh I’m so tired.

I really, really want to slim down a bit. Toned up my flabby abs. I’ve found a slimming product on Lowyat.NET and I’m thinking of getting this slimming gel, but it has heating effects… which is good right? It will cost me RM55 for 250g.

Sigh….
