Mula-mula kita sketch design atas kertas. Supaya tak tersilap potong nanti. Part ni penting la bagi saya, sebab saya suka guna designer fabric yang saya beli dari US… jadi saya tak suka membazir kain :blush: Lagi satu, bila kita lukis dulu atas kertas (beserta dengan ukuran) nanti kita tak akan tersilap jahit, betul tak?

Hehe itu ironing board saya. Buruk kan? Dah hangus terbakar, haha! Minggu lepas ibu dah beli iron baru, sebab iron lama jatuh, pecah terus. Tapi iron sekarang semua ringan-ringa. Saya suka iron lama, berat macam batu! Bagus, tak payah susah-susah nak tekan bahagian lipatan jahitan tu.

Kebanyakan barang-barang jahit saya simpan dalam bekas, siap dengan label. Saya ni memang jenis disorganized, jadi bila nak menjahit je huru-hara mencari barang… :panic: tak ke buang masa? haha Tengok The Oprah Show, dia suruh ‘declutter’… jadi saya kemas la studio menjahit saya. Lebih kemas dan menarik bukan? Aaah, label tu boleh download dekat iDiY, banyak benda menarik dekat situ!

Hehe hari ini produktif. Berjaya jahit Clutch ini, and I absolutely love it! Kalau berminat dengan Envelope Clutch ini, boleh la beli dari kedai online saya,  BJX.STORE. Clutch ni, tak lembik. Saya tak suka beg takde bentuk atau lembik. Jadi saya jahit clutch ni elok-elok, dengan interfacing 2 helai dan ditambah pula dengan batting. Selanjutnya boleh tengok dekat BJX.STORE.

 Harganya RM55 sahaja. Cepat, cepat sebab saya jahit satu ni je!!! :panic:

Saya juga dah siap jahit lagi satu Envelope Clutch, guna kain bercorak tartan warna merah hitam. Tinggal nak tambah bow hitam besar je… hehe!

Rehat sebentar, perut lapar. Masak makaroni goreng dulu, yum! *lagi-lagi makanan ternak badan*

As for my pity self, I’m too bogged down with work. Everyday just work work work from 8am till 6pm. I’m sucha loser in organizing things and suck at prioritizing tasks. Aiyaaa~ No time left for Crafty Things!

Got an appointment with doctor next week, hoping to do medical check-up regarding my stomach pain and back cramps. Maybe I should go check for breast cancer too, right? :yuck:

Embroidery Sewing Machine

Owh btw, I’m totally hyped and excited… Purchased an embroidery sewing machine, will be delivered to me in early July! I have so many plans/designs sketched for this! So, you’ll be expecting a lot of things, EMBROIDERED… soon!

oh yes, the new sewing machine cost me RM6000! *gasp for air :yuck: 

This clutch is CUSTOM MADE to order, which means;

1. You can choose your desirable flavor (for outer body) from the swatch
2. Choose the flap’s color
3. Choose the chain strap (gold or nickel)
4. Wait for 1 week, for production

It’s best for me to match the flap, chain type and swatch myself to ensure color coordination. right?

Easy Clutch?? Details please…

The outer body is made from cotton fabrics (yes, its cotton… not leather or synthetic material) with medium weight interfacing. Medium weight interfacing helps maintaining the shape but will lose shape if handled vigorously.

The flap is from satin-like fabrics interfaced with firm heavy weight interfacing, backed with cardboard stabilizer so it will remain in shape.

For interior, I use floral prints with mid loft batting… to give the clutch some sort of puffiness and shape. Opps, no mini pockets and no zip. Just 1 compartment to stash you stuff in.

I’ve divided the clothes, clothes that still in very good condition (or I seldom wear them) are for sale. Another lot is to be given to charity. There are lots of baju kurungs too, worn a few times and still looking new. I can’t pass it down to my sister, she’s a size bigger than me.

This is my first prototype, and really glad it turned out ok (not like my previous laptop sleeve, lunyai dikerjakan). The outer material is from Amy Butler’s Midwest Collection. I should change the black snap button to magnetic purse snap. Anyone know where can I buy magnetic purse snap? (Do I have to order them online, postage cost me more these days because of the petrol price hike lah!)
