Should I sketch my own design and construct my own pattern? Or should I skip the highway and purchase a sewing pattern? huhu I’m so lazy lah nowadays, I wanna make more craft~ :panic:

I really like the Black and White Zebra prints by Paula Prass from her Summer Soiree Collection, but it is so hard to find lah. Most of it already sold out ;( So, I’m thinking of using houndstooth pattern from Summer Soiree or Alexander Henry’s.

Actually, my top fave fabric for messenger bag is this one (Alexander Henry – Nicole Prints – Headtrip in Charcoal) I’m a sucka for SKULLS Prints~ lalala~   weeeeeeeeeeee~~ :cheer:

Mula-mula kita sketch design atas kertas. Supaya tak tersilap potong nanti. Part ni penting la bagi saya, sebab saya suka guna designer fabric yang saya beli dari US… jadi saya tak suka membazir kain :blush: Lagi satu, bila kita lukis dulu atas kertas (beserta dengan ukuran) nanti kita tak akan tersilap jahit, betul tak?

Hehe itu ironing board saya. Buruk kan? Dah hangus terbakar, haha! Minggu lepas ibu dah beli iron baru, sebab iron lama jatuh, pecah terus. Tapi iron sekarang semua ringan-ringa. Saya suka iron lama, berat macam batu! Bagus, tak payah susah-susah nak tekan bahagian lipatan jahitan tu.

Kebanyakan barang-barang jahit saya simpan dalam bekas, siap dengan label. Saya ni memang jenis disorganized, jadi bila nak menjahit je huru-hara mencari barang… :panic: tak ke buang masa? haha Tengok The Oprah Show, dia suruh ‘declutter’… jadi saya kemas la studio menjahit saya. Lebih kemas dan menarik bukan? Aaah, label tu boleh download dekat iDiY, banyak benda menarik dekat situ!

And I call this clutch, “I Stole Your Keyboard”

Currently I’m into damask print and I’m planning to use these cotton in making a tote or shoulder bag. Something like this… :aww: Nice isn’t it?!!

So, I’ve decided to throw a giveaway for my readers (especially my SILENT READERS eherm eherm) :blush: tapi saya ada satu je hadiah. Mungkin lain kali boleh buat lagi kan~

I made this pencil case (or pouch) just now. It was a very quick one!!! *phew*  :aww: Sebab terlampau excited nak menjahit tadi. I used kain belacu printed with design from July monthly planner and sew it all together with fusible interfacing and tadaaaaaaaa!!! A mini pencil case^^ :cheer: but ops, its NOT WASHABLE!!!

Fabric was inspired by a tutorial on how to print your own fabric from Si Kurus and ideas by Lian from Lilstitchy!!! Thanks you girls

I love indie craft

Magnetic snaps are often use as purse’s or bag’s closure. I prefer using magnetic snap as it looks more stylish than sewn-on snap button. Plus, it is easier to deal with.

I know a shop in Kota Bharu selling these, but it’s quite costly. RM4 for each pair! Aiiyaaaa, that is so expensive lah! :bawl:  I beg for discount and the shop owner only gave me RM0.50/pair off, IF i buy 5 pairs~

So, I really… really need your help :pfft: do tell me, where can I buy magnetic snaps… without costing me bones and limbs! ps:

My findings…

I search on eBay and found this user (Ah Kwok Supplies) from Hong Kong. Besides magnetic snaps, they have other things like purse feet, purse frame and buckles… which really delectable! :inlove:

Not to forget, on Etsy! I’ve found a shop (CottonTouch) selling similar crafty supplies and she’s from Thailand. So, that means shipping must be cheaper since Thailand is nearer to Malaysia… rite? :hehe:

So, what do you think? Is it wise for me to buy these, online? I dunno if I will be charged with tax or not. But, it is definitely cheaper rite

What do you think? Decoration on the back? :pfft: Just to spice up a bit, but my mum disagree with the skull thingy~ So, I guess… It will be put up for sale then.

More embellishments will be added later. I’m planning to add sewn on black acrylic stones, on the back. And perhaps a bit glitters on the print. Heeee! :cheer: Owh, this jacket fits size M.

I wont be wearing short skirts anymore, I’m letting go all my short skirts! So, I decided to revive my favorite skirt by adding sewn on beads. There are more skirts, but I’ll start with this first! Yeay~ All will be put for sale at BJX.STORE. Soon!

This is my first attempt at using polymer clay I used black and fluor pink FIMO polymer clays to make the ‘heart broken’ pendant.

Components used;

• Black FIMO Soft Clay
• Fluor Pink Premo Clay
• 30inch length brass chain
• 1 gold jump ring
• 3 copper jump ring
• 1 gold lobster claw clasp
• black netting
• red ribbon
• black lace

Just finished baking the black rose. Did I say baking? The black rose was done by my deary crafty mummy, using FIMO polymer clay bought last time. I was so happy with the end result.

The black rose will be use as a pendant for a gothic themed necklace, and I will name this necklace “A Blacken Life”. To make this necklace, I will be using;

• a black rose pendant – made from black polymer clay
• pearls – jet, coffee, cream
• antique gold eyepins
• pastel pink & black laces
• black net

I’m all hyped and excited! Looking forward… ^_^
