Mesti produktif, ayuh!

Aku dah siap tukar dan customize WordPress Theme Snapshot kepada online shop yang secara asal nya Theme Snapshot ini sesuai untuk blog portfolio. Aku rasa macam theme ini sangat simple dan sesuai untuk BJX.STORE. Lagipun prestasi WordPress lebih laju dari Magento tapi kita tak boleh nak banding dua ni sebab ia bukan benda yang sama. :P

Aku ambil keputusan beralih dari Magento ke WordPress sebab aku lebih selesa dengan WordPress dan ianya sangat mesra pengguna. Magento kadang-kadang terlalu slow masa loading, dengan database nya yang bapak besar! Perlu komitmen yang lebih untuk maintain. Bukan aku tak suka Magento tapi aku rase Magento lebih sesuai untuk online shop yang berskala besar.

I fell sick, and got stuck with work!

huhu sick with flu and cough and its been a week already. Haven’t got the time to go to the clinic plus its been a heavy downpour here lately. Well, day job is crazy and killing me! Had to stay back at the office until 1am! Aiiish~

I bought 10 meters of buble wrap meant for packaging my handmade goodies! Available in 10 meters for RM35 only.

Birthday present, for him

Well, any ideas on birthday gifts? Tomorrow is Lohq’s birthday, and I’m still unsure about the present. All I can think are ‘Transformers’, model kit, vintage tee and perfume.

Budget?

herm, not much in mind-lah… hehe since I’ve spent most of my salary on furnitures. Well, maybe RM300 max.. err make it RM200 lor. I’m on a tight budget starting this month. I swear, no more shoes for me! There’s not enough room for shoes nimore.

So, what I have in mind…

A Transformer model kit, since he’s crazy bout them. How much will it cost me?

Perfume is the most common thing to be given as a birthday gift. So, I’m thinking of giving him Hugo #6 by (Hugo Boss) cause 0oh I love the scent on him. Very masculine and yet freshly scented. hihi

and some cool t-shirts for him… (damn Threadless!!) yeah i’m still pissed, ok!

and your ideas are?

Damnation, Threadless

I was eye-ing the t-shirts for a long time already and since they are having a big sale I took the chances to order a whole lot of 13 shirts to my liking {USD $170.50}.

But… it was declined!

The problem is my orders have been reviewed and declined 6 times!! So I wrote a complaint email to them;

Hello there,

I’ve tried placing order, 4 times but all have been declined. It seems the issue here is, billing information but I used correct billing address.

and the reply was…

Hello Azliza -

We regret to inform you that we no longer accept orders or ship to Terengganu, Kelentan, or Kota Bharu. Over the past year, every single order we have received from those locations have been placed fraudulently with stolen credit cards and has cost our company a great deal in lost income and merchandise. We cannot make any exceptions.

Hello John,

You mean I cannot place order at all unless I use different credit card and address NOT from Terengganu, Kelantan, or Kota Bharu?

Its a discrimination and I felt terribly disappointed.

and they replied;

Hello Azliza!

Sorry, we do not ship to Terengganu, Kelentan, or Kota Bharu. We used to, but ran into too many issues with fraud and missing orders. We removed it from our list of countries we ship to.

Another option: You can trying having a friend or family member in a different country order the shirts for you and then forward them to you.

Note the wrong spelling of ‘Kelantan’. They think Terengganu, Kelantan, and Kota Bharu are countries? Ceh!!! What the h**l la dei… And I used my friend’s CC with a Selangor address, guess what!! It was declined too!

Shipping to Malaysia, is not accepted?

If they really DO NOT accept orders from or provide shipping to Malaysia, they should have removed ‘Malaysia’ from the drop down list! So my time is not wasted! Grrr….

p/s: I used the money to spend on other things, like shoes!!!

Well, have you ever bought something… online?
How much trust do you put when buying online?

Do tell, what matters do you considered before proceeding to purchasing something from a site. Give me as much feedbacks as you can on ‘online shopping’ as I am restructuring my online business.

As for me, I don’t mind buying something from a website, but with much precaution lah

Buying from eBay or any other site.

I have bought and sold a few things on eBay Malaysia and never been cheated or conned or conn someone. Lucky me and lucky you! But it was only on local sites, because I have problems verifying my PayPal before this.

And finally.. last month, my PayPal account has been verified. So, last night I have the courage and enough moolah to buy something from an international site. Bought something from eBay.AU using my PayPal and charge it to my credit card. Saja nak cuba. hehe If the thing that I bought came alrite, I’ll buy more stuff from the eBay store.

and I’ve being eye-ing this Threadless Tee like a gazillion times already!!! Love the design, so neon-kewl and is definitely my taste. You know me, I have a thing for skull and retro-ish thingy! haha If I have enough cash, this is definitely going to be in my wardrobe! oyeah~

What happened to bjx.store?

owh crap!! I’m so busy with my day job and settling down at a new house, I don’t have time to focus on my online store. Received emails and IMs asking me bout bjx.store and wanting to be a stockist/reseller for my stuff. I’m overwhelmed by the interest that you’ve all shown.

Thanks everyone for supporting me all this while. You made me feel motivated to go on creating new stuff and continuing bjx.store!!! luv yah!!!

Currently, I’m restructuring the site and adding stocks. Its a helluva job cause I’m running a one-man show. I really need a helper/partner!
