Do you have a physical store?

Shambijoux.com is an Online Shop. We do not have a traditional brick and mortar store but we do have a home studio open for walk-in by appointment

Do I need to register to shop?

Not necessary. For faster processing, we encourage customers to register an account.  Creating an account allows us to save your shopping basket and repeat orders. But you can still place an order using Guest Checkout.

If you have an account with us, you can earn points every time you shop. Spend them on purchases, vouchers, and more on Shambijoux!

How do I register for an account?

Click here to register by filling in your details and following the instructions. You can also use your social account for easy registration.

What do I do if I have forgotten my password or my password does not work?

If you’ve forgotten your password, just click the “Lost your password?” and a link to reset your password will be emailed to you right away. If you still do not receive an email, write to help@shambijoux.com and we will assist you promptly.

How do I place an order?
All you need to do now is browse! You can search for something specific by using the search bar. If you’re looking for a particular type of item, you can browse by category located along the top of the page. 
 
Our latest items are located under the JUST IN! category link and you can filter your search by colour, material, pattern, brand, supplier and dimension.
 
Once you have found the item you want, click on the ADD TO CART (or PRE-ORDER) button.
 
You can either continue browsing or review the items in your cart by clicking on VIEW CART. 
 
If you’re happy with the items in your shopping bag, click ‘CHECKOUT’ to complete your order. If you have a discount code you’d like to use, key it in the box provided before checking out. 
How can I find out the status of my order?

You can check your order status at Order Tracking.

To track your order please enter your Order ID and the email you used during checkout. This Order ID was given to you on your receipt and in the confirmation email you should have received.

Please email us at help@shambijoux.com and we will be happy to let you know the status of your order should you have any questions or concerns.

What do I do if there's a problem with my order?

We are more than happy to help you. You may contact us via live chat, email us at help@shambijoux.com with your order number, or WhatsApp. Our number is +6017-6086147. We will assist you promptly.

Can I cancel my order?

You will need to contact us as soon as possible so that we won’t process your order. Unfortunately, we are not able to cancel selected items. If you wish to proceed with cancellation, we can only cancel the whole order.

We are only able to cancel your order if the status is Pending Payment, On-Hold or Processing (not valid for digital products).

You can also cancel your order by tapping on “Cancel” in My Orders page.

Kindly note that all refunds for cancellation will be in store credit.

If it’s too late to cancel your order, we will need to ask you to return the items and you will be reimbursed in the form of store credit. Please find ‘Returns’ section below.

Why was my order canceled?

In most cases, orders are automatically canceled after 24 hours if we do not receive payments from you. However, if the amount has been deducted from your bank account, kindly email us at help@shambijoux.com and we’ll check accordingly.

Please note that uncollected orders will also be cancelled and refunded after 30 days.

Kindly note that all refunds will be in store credit ONLY.

Do you accept custom order?

Unfortunately not at the moment. Do visit our community of Modern Sewist (Sewing Artists) at Modern Sewists Malaysia.

Please note this term if you are seeking for custom order;

  • Made-to-order — Final product is not sewn until the customer has actually ordered it.
  • Custom Order — Items can be customized as desired, made according to a customer’s specifications but based on stated guidelines.
Do you accept wholesale order?

We offer bulk purchasing pricing for Craft Supplies items, Faux Leather and Designer Fabrics. Please register your business account at our Wholesale site.

What payment methods do you accept?

You can either pay by:

  1. Manual bank/ATM transfer to CIMB, Maybank, or Hong Leong.
  2. Online banking (FPX) thorough SenangPay & BillPlz gateway.
  3. Credit & Debit Card (Visa & Mastercard) through SenangPay gateway.
  4. PayPal through BillPlz gateway.
  5. eGift Cards.

All our payment gateways capture payments in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR/RM).

If you check out in a currency other than your credit card’s currency, you may be subject to a currency-conversion fee from your card issuer. We recommend consulting your credit card provider for information on any applicable fees.

If you pay through PayPal, PayPal will provide automatic currency conversion based on the current rate for MYR. Kindly note PayPal’s currency conversion fee is added to the exchange rate, set by an external financial institution. Contact PayPal directly for more details regarding how they determine their currency conversion rates and fees. 

If you are using a SHAMBIJOUX issued egift card, the funds will be removed from your balance at the time your order is placed.

Why my Visa/MasterCard payment is failed?

For first time online purchase or non -3DS enrolled cardholder, please call issuing bank or check on card issuing bank website to request to process online purchase or enroll for 3D-secure (3DS).

How do I pay using eGift Card or Store Credit?

All eGift Card and Store Credit coupons code can be used similarly to other coupons: On the Cart and the Checkout page.

You may enter the eGift Card code or Store Credit code at the designated box provided at the Cart and Checkout page. Click Apply Coupon.

How do I use a promo code or coupon?

Promo codes and coupons may be entered at the Cart or Checkout Page. Simply type or paste your code in the box provided, and then click APPLY COUPON.

Only one promo code may be applied per order. Promo codes cannot be combined with other offers. Promo codes are not valid on sale page items. Promo codes do not apply to egift cards.

What are your shipping rates and delivery times?

We offer *free domestic shipping on orders over RM199 shipping to West Malaysia and RM249 shipping to East Malaysia**.
*Not valid for big & bulky, leather in roll, group buy and clearance item.
**Weight limits of 2kg are applied to free domestic shipping within East Malaysia.

Domestic and International shipping rates are based on weight, and a quote is available within the shopping cart.

International shipping rates do not include import fees, customs or duty charges. We have no control over these charges and they are the sole responsibility of the person placing the order.

When will my order ship?

Packing and preparation will take about 1 to 3 working days*. This does not include weekends or holidays (Selangor).

We’ll send out your tracking number by email and/or SMS as soon as your order is packed.

Where is my tracking number?

If you haven’t yet received a tracking number (via email and/or SMS), that means we’re working on processing your order.

We’ll send out your tracking number by email and/or SMS as soon as your order is packed.

You may or may not received a tracking number via SMS in this form;

Tracking information can take up to 48 hours to become available, especially for customers in rural or regional areas.

What happen if I couldn't or didn't collect my order during delivery and the parcel is returned to you?

Kindly ensure that the address given is valid and that there will be someone to receive the parcel up at time of delivery.

In case of returned item due to unsuccessful delivery, please note that we will be attempting another delivery only after the second postage fee is paid.

Undelivered and unclaimed items will only be kept for a month at our store. After 30 calendar days have passed, we will refund the order in form of store credit (minus postage fee and 10% re-stocking fee).

Kindly note that all refunds will be in store credit ONLY.

What if I need to change my shipping address?

You will need to contact us as soon as possible so that we won’t process your order. We are only able to change your delivery address if the status is Processing.

You may email us at help@shambijoux.com with your order number. We will assist you promptly.

Can I combine shipping with my previous order?

We are only able to combine your order if the status is Processing.

Please place a new order and choose Shipping Option: Combine Order. Please include your Previous Order No.

This may incur additional charges, postage fee is based on total weight of your package and destination.

Can I get same day delivery?

We do not offer same day delivery.

Can I change my shipping method to delivery by post? I inadvertently choose Self-Pickup.

You will need to contact us and provide us your order number. We will issue an invoice to you. Postage fee is based on total weight of your package and destination.

I live nearby Seri Kembangan, can I come and collect?

Yes! Self-pickup option is available at;

Order can be made online for faster processing. Please opt for Self-Pickup as your shipping method. You will receive an e-mail when your order is ready for pickup.

I opt for Self-Pickup, so whats next?

We will be in touch by email and/or WhatsApp as soon as your order is ready to be collected from your nominated pickup location.

Please note for self-collect option, strictly:

  1. Self-collect at the designated address/agent only; no alternative venues available
  2. Self-collect time for Seri Kembangan Area is on weekends only, Saturday & Sunday between 10AM to 6PM
  3. Self-collect must be completed within 30 days from order date. Uncollected orders will be cancelled and refunded in store credit.

What if I don't collect my order?

If you don’t collect your order before the final date for collection, we’ll refund the order total (minus 10% re-stocking fee) in form of store credit and we will send you an email to confirm that the order has been cancelled and refunded.

Kindly note that all refunds will be in store credit ONLY.

What is your returns policy?

If for any reason you are not thrilled with your purchase you are welcome to return your item to us and we will send a refund for the cost of the item less a 10% re-stocking fee upon its return. We ask that this is done within 7 days of receiving your order.

The restocking fee is necessary to cover the cost of the return: processing your order, shipping your order, receiving and processing your return, adding return to inventory.

Kindly note that all refunds will be in store credit.

Only items that are unworn, unaltered, unwashed and in its original packaging with label still attached can be returned.

Items applicable for returns are;

All sales on digital products and workshop tickets are final.

For returns, customers are advised to notify us first at help@shambijoux.com by quoting the order number and product details.

We do reserve the right not to allow the return of products or refund of any transactions although the condition above is met.

How do I return something to you?

You can return any applicable item to us within 7 days of receiving your order (just make sure your items are in the original condition and label/tags still attached). Please repack your items in the original packaging and ensure it is secured.

Will you refund me my delivery charge?

Unfortunately shipping costs are borne by the customer and we are not liable until item reaches us.

What is your minimum cut on fabric?

For most items, minimum cut length is 1/4 (0.25) yard and increment in 1/8 (0.125) yard.

Some items have a different minimum order quantity and increments. This will be clearly defined on the product page.

How many meters is a yard of fabric?

1 yard (yd) is equal to 0.9144 meter (m).
 
To convert yards to meters, multiply the yard value by 0.9144 or divide by 1.0936133.

What is FQ or Fat Quarter?

A fat quarter of fabric is a one-fourth yard cut that usually measures 18″ x 22″. To create a fat quarter, cut a half-yard of fabric, 18″ ​along the fabric’s lengthwise grain, then cut that piece in half at its midpoint as illustrated.

What is F8 or Fat Eighth?

A fat eighth measure 9″ x 22″, rather than the typical one-eighth yard cut of 4.5″ x 42″.

A fat eighth is cut crosswise from a fat quarter piece of fabric (18″×22″), cut in half to make a 9″×22″ “fat” 1⁄8 yard piece.
