This handy organizer is a fat-quarter fabric-friendly and very short project. It can be done within 3 hours depending on your sewing skill. As you can see the complete organizer is having a rounded edge flap but not to worry if you could not do it by freehand, there is a curve maker with 3 different radial curves included in the pattern.
You are not really into the vertical orientation? There is an extra tutorial inside, for the horizontal version! Do not hesitate to try, it is easy and practical.
Optional
You may use any type of button that is easy for you. If the wrist cotton cord does not suit you, switch it to the wrist strap as you desired.
Supplies
- One fat quarter of 44″ wide – outer fabric
- One fat quarter of 44″ wide – inner fabric (cotton calico)
- 3/4 yard cotton fusible interfacing (CS 5530)
- 1/2″ snap metal button
- 1/2 yard cotton cord
- One A4 plastic sheet for tab labels
- One ½” D-ring and ½” lobster hook (optional)
- Fabric glue
